Allarme sociale e migranti: l'esperienza di un quartiere CEP in Napoli tra inclusione e segregazione

In Italy the multicultural dimension is grafted on the inadequacy of the "modern-ists" planning in meeting the demand of the city. The increase of migrations im-pacts on contexts already characterized by social deprivation and spatial decay. Starting by the definition of "permanent slums" by Jane Jacobs characterized, fre-quently, by inadequate interactions between original inhabitants and newcomers, the case study of Rione Traiano in Naples has been developed in order to under-stand the process of social inclusion regarding migrants and nomads communities.
