abstract:
The paper focuses on a case of collaborative governance applied to territorial government. Starting from this perspective, the paper analyzes on territory government strategies based on the Resources-based approach linked to the Identity Domain Theory. The former assumes that the processes of strategic development are focused on available resources which in turn are closely related to the territorial area and to the players operating there. The variety of partners in a geographical area and their complex nature would indicate that the formulation of a common identity promotes development process. Consequently, the common domain of identity can be a factor of aggregation of territorial resources and can thus facilitate strategic planning. In particular, our paper analyzes the
experience of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano which is one of the largest Italian parks considering the extension and the number of municipalities in the area. The National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano has recently created many projects of territorial development.
