abstract:
This paper proposes a possible realization of an effective Cellular Neural Network by amorphous silicon technology, which can be deposited in thin film on a large variety of substrate by PECVD from a silane gas. High sensitivity photodetectors may be obtained on large area substrates. A coupling structure is studied to verify the possibility to obtain a network of detectors having as input signal the incident light, and the coupling currents generated from the first neighbours.
