CATALOGUE OF MONOTREMATA AND MARSUPIALIA IN THE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY OF GENOVA (MAMMALIA)

The Museum of Genova holds an historically important collection of more than 500 monotreme and marsupial specimens, the most part collected during the late nineteenth century. The collection houses a number of type specimens, including nine holotypes, five lectotypes, three syntypes, one paralectotype and three paratypes. The authors present revised identifications of all the specimens in the collection, with their collecting data.
