Una parità di genere senza ostacoli demografici

This paper analyses the judgment of the Constitutional Court no. 62 of 2022, which constitutes a further arrival in the path that is gradually leading to full equality between men and women in the chances of access to elected offices. In particular, the decision introduces a gender equality without demographic obstacles, overcoming an unjustified inequality of treatment between municipalities of different size in the implementation of the goal of rebalancing gender representation in the elected bodies.
