Le dinamiche del paesaggio costiero; evoluzione storica delle aree di interfaccia urbano rurale (RUI) in un'area del Nord Sardegna

The main objectives of this work are: i) the classification of WUIs in a touristic areas in the North of Sardinia; ii) the evaluation of the their spatial and temporal evolution; iii) the identification of a series of indicators that provide a measure of fire risk. WUIs have been characterised and mapped with temporal intervals of about 10 years ranging from 1954 to 2008, following the methodology proposed by Lampin et al. (2009; 2010) with a tool developed by the IRSTEA Institute within the FUME European project. This study highlights the importance of this type of analysis within territorial planning and administration and as a guideline for future fire prevention and territorial planning
