abstract:
Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) was detected in many species of weeds and wild plants, most of which representing new TSWV hosts. The virus was identified by ELISA and manual transmission to test plants in: Mercurialis annua L., Mentha arvensis (L) Scop., Digitaria sanguinalis, Holcus lanatus L., Cichorium intybus L., Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop., Erigeron canadensis L., Verbena officinalis L., Chenopodium album L., Malva neglecta Waller., Papaver dubium L., Solanum dulcamara L., Amaranthus retroflexus L., Plantago major L., Sonchus oleraceus L., Solanum nigrum L., Portulaca oleracea L., Anthemis arvensis L. and Calendula arvensis L
