Aromatic nucleophilic substitution of haloarene tricarbonyl chromium complexes: synthesis of chromium tricarbonyl complexed aniline derivatives

The reaction of some halogenoarene tricarbonylchromium complexes, e.g., I (R = F), with NH2COCF3/NaH and NH2P(O)(OCH2Ph)2/NaH affords variously substituted complexed aniline derivs., e.g., I [R = NHCOCF3, NHP(O)(OCH2Ph)2], in 30-80% yields and under mild conditions.
