Ordered mesoporous carbons (OMCs) are new class of carbonaceous materials that have found remarkable interest in energy storage technologies as active material for negative electrode of lithium battery [1] and as capacitive material in electrochemical supercapacitors [2]. In this regard, here, we report a study on the synthesis and modification of OMC, the preparation of CMK-3 carbon based electrodes and their characterization in solid state supercapacitors that is using a Nafion membrane as solid electrolyte
