abstract:
This essay describes how cognitive sciences, and more specifically cognitive linguistics, can offer specific insights in the evaluation of political events typically analysed by political scientists. Namely, here an Analysis of Political Discourse approach discusses and puts into a different perspective the results of the 2010 US Mid-Term Elections by means of a blend of techniques.
