Modified poly(3-alkylthiophene) for LED preparation

abstract:
We have prepared a derivative of poly(3-alkylthiophene) containing an oxygen atom in the side chain. The polymer has been characterized and it has been tested as active material in a LED device. Its behaviour has been compared with that of a conventional poly(3-alkylthiophene).
