Spatial patterns and risk assessment of heavy metals and other potentially harmful elements in urban soils of a south Italy area

The study demonstrated that the geostatistical approach can be used in a study of urban soils contamination to produce geochemical maps, identify hot-spot areas and assess the probability of exceeding given regulatory values for heavy metals and other PHE in an urban community.
