Remedier (Trichoderma asperellum e Trichoderma gamsii): nuova opportunità di contenimento del complesso del mal dell'esca della vite. Risultati di quattro anni di sperimentazione in Italia

This work reports the results obtained after 4 years of field trials carried out in Italian vineyards of 7 different regions, against the "esca disease complex" of grapevine by using Remedier® a microbiological fungicide containing two selected strains of Trichoderma. By colonizing the pruning wounds, the Trichoderma isolates allowed to reduce the spread of new infections, also on particularly susceptible varieties. The product, applied after spring pruning at sap bleeding stage, proved to be effective and of practical use; it is actually the only agrochemical authorized in Italy to prevent one of the most serious diseases of grapevine.
