abstract:
This article is an attempt at finding some points of convergence between political activity and philosophical research in Eugenio Colorni. Socialist and partisan, Colorni was born in 1909 and killed by the fascists in 1944. He studied with Piero Martinetti and Giuseppe Antonio Borgese at the University of Milan and was among the first Italian epistemologists. During confinement, he contributed, together with Altiero Spinelli and Ernesto Rossi, at the development of the ideas that gave birth to the European Federalist Movement.
