Introduction: many studies prove that international guidelines (GL) recommendations for optimal asthma management and control are not or only partially applied within the clinical practice. Further, there are few studies on the control of these diseases and on the treatment efficacy in the real life of the general population. Objectives: the aim of the ARGA (Respiratory allergic diseases: monitoring study of GINA and ARIA guidelines) study is to evaluate the current application of GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma) guidelines among general practitioners (GP) and their impact on patient's controland quality of life.
