Energy landscape analysis of protein folding in an off-lattice model

Protein folding is numerically analysed in an off-lattice model in terms of potential energy landscape properties. Relevant landscape points (inherent structures, saddles) sampled by the system during the folding process are investigated. A landscape signature of the folding mechanism emerges.
