Steam Reforming, Partial Oxidation, and Autothermal Reforming of Ethanol for Hydrogen Production in Conventional Reactors
Chapter
Publication Date:
2018
abstract:
In this chapter, a comparative analysis of the principal reforming processes [steam reforming (SR), partial oxidation (POX), and autothermal reforming (ATR)] to produce hydrogen from ethanol is provided. Each process is addressed considering the possible configuration for different applications. The efficiency of the reforming processes along with the main reactors and catalysts features are elucidated.
