Il processo di antropizzazione del litorale ionico lucano in relazione allo stato di conservazione della morfologia costiera.

This paper focuses on the main results obtained by a national research project on aeolic deposits and beach-dune sediment flow on Italian coasts. Through the multitemporal analysis of cartographic data, aerial photos and geomorphological survey dune belts have been tabulated. Data have been implemented in a geodatabase purposely structured to homogenize the information surveyed on whole national territory. Meanwhile, the anthropization rate has been estimated for jonian lucanian coastline between the 1949 and 1997, to which the actual morphological fragmentation of original dune belt seems to be due.
