Squatting comasts and Others. Itinerant Iconographies and Plastic Vases

Among the many East-Greek materials found in the votive deposit of the Demeter sanctuary at Katane, plastic vases play an important role for variety of types and styles. Their study allows particularly to face some issues involving iconography and the exchanges of images between East and West. Strictly connected to this argument is the role played by the various more precious "media" in spreading and inspiring new iconographies.
