Academic Article
Publication Date:
1985
abstract:
On 5 young and healthy subjects, thè kinetic of thè enteric absorption and thè bioavailability of a new, single dose, slow-release theopylline formulation-were investigated. The absorption exceeds thè 80°/o of thè administered dose between thè IQth e 12th hour, and achieves thè 95% afier 24 hours. The bioavailability relative to thè standard formulation about 100%. In steady state conditici!, after 7 days treatment thè ratio of maximum to minimum concentration is on average 3/1.
