EVALITA 2014: Emotion Recognition Task (ERT)

In this report, we describe the EVALITA 2014 Emotion Recognition Task (ERT). Specifically, we describe the datasets, the evaluation procedure and we summarize the results obtained by the proposed systems. On this basis we provide our view on the current state of emotion recognition systems for Italian, whose development appears to be severely slowed down by the type of data available nowadays.
