Biogas Upgrading for the 21st Century

Although the use of fossil fuels is very common and comfortable, the truth is that it disturbs the natural balance. Finding ourselves responsible for the future of our planet many research groups all over the world started looking for alternative energy sources. These alternatives should be renewable, cheap, easily accessible and safe. Besides many other alternatives like bioethanol or biodiesel, biogas is one of the possible candidates currently being tested. If alternative fuels were commonly used instead of fossil fuels, the latter could continue to be employed as raw materials for the chemical industry.
