Kinetic theory of "hot" neural systems

Academic Article
Publication Date:
1987
abstract:
The kinetic theory of neural systems is modified in order to allow the description of systems, such as the cerebral cortex, with a mixing of short range random connections and long range deterministic connections. Moreover, the kinetic equations have been modified in order to describe also neural systems with high level of activity, the "hot" systems. © 1987 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
