abstract:
X-Ray coronary angiography still remains the gold standard for imaging the vascular morphology and patency of coronary arteries. Moreover, angiography is of paramount importance during angioplasty procedures as it provides a fundamental immediate feedback about the success of the treatment. In this view, we have developed a method to build computational descriptors of the heart wall perfusion from image time series as obtained in contrast X-Ray angiography. The dynamics of contrast dilution is analyzed and a set of parametric maps is built
