Bioaccumulo di metalli in tracce in Mytilus galloprovincialis prelevati dai jackets di una piattaforma gas-metano.

A 3-year monitoring program was carried out between 1998 and 2000 to detect environmental impact of an off-shore gas platform in the Central Adriatic Sea. Metal concentrations (Hg, Cd, Pb, Cu, Cr and Zn) was determined in Mytilus galloprovincialis Lam. collected on the jackets of the platform. Our data suggested that some alterations can be assessed immediately after the start of drilling operations. These changes were not detected during the last samplings.
