MICE: A SOFWARE PACKAGE FOR THE USE OF MUTUAL INFORMATION IN CLUSTERING EVALUATION

The Data Mining approaches large data source and these kind of elaborations often need to cluster the data in classes. The mutual information is a theoretical tool that may be used to evaluate the reliability of clustering. A computing procedure for the use has been developed and explained here in this paper of mutual information. A software package, MICE, use of Mutual Information in Clustering Evaluation has been developed for this purpose. The software modules has been developed in MATLAB language.
