This chapter describe the methods of synthesis and characterization of polyhydrazides and corresponding polyoxadiazoles for high temperature and electro-optical applications. An up-date of recent literature is provided. It is based in parts on the first-edition chapter on aromatic polyhydrazides and their corresponding polyoxadiazoles.
