The relationships of the M and Mu genomes of Triticum

Triploid, tetraploid and pentaploid hybrids involving M and Mu genome species were examined for meiotic chromosome pairing. Values of the relative affinity of the genomes involved were calculated. There is no preferential pairing of the M and Mu genomes. The Mu genome of T. uniaristatum should be changed to Un.
