OPTICAL AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF TRANSPARENT SHEETS AND FILMS FOR AGRICULTURAL USE

This paper describes a new technique for the determination of optical and thermal properties of transparent coverings wich better reflectthe conditions of practical use taking into account the incidence angle of radiation, the complexity of glazing structure and a sufficient specimen area.Results of such a testing are given for both films and sheets and conclusions are drawn for the most convenient application of these coverings for a good thermal balance.
