Effetti dello sversamento di sedimenti portuali sulle comunità macrozoobentoniche in Nord Adriatico

The potential effects on macrozoobenthos of 19.500 m3 harbour sediment was investigated during and after the dumping operations in an open-sea area off Senigallia (Northern Adriatic Sea). The macrozoobenthic assemblage did not appear particularly stressed by the sediment disposal, as confirmed by the similarity between dumping sites and control ones.
