abstract:
During the Bronze Age the part of the Po Valley between the river Panaro and the river Reno was a kind of hinge between two cultural spheres: the western one characterized by the Terramare facies and the eastern one related to the peninsular world. Recent excavations at Borgo Panigale help to formalize a precise chronology of the Recent Bronze Age that can be used as a structure for an interpretative model to explain the circulation of the pottery production.
