Flame Behavior and Processability of Polypropylene based Formulations

abstract:
An opportune formulation of polypropylene based systems combining a commercial intumescent flame retardants (IFR) and inorganic fillers may give rise to new materials which ensure a satisfying fire behavior due to the occurrence of specific synergisms while maintaining a satisfactory processability.
