During 2021, the Italian Archaeological Mission of Priniàs carried out field activities and the study and documentation
of the finds. Concerning the former, a photogrammetric survey activity on the Patela of Priniàs was carried out. The photogrammetric
survey began in 2019 as a part of a broader and more articulated project that includes the creation of a Geographic
Information System. Furthermore, the first magnetometric geophysical surveys concerned five different sample areas of the Patela.
The team of the University of Catania carried out a short excavation campaign in the southern sector of the so-called "temples
area", where the excavation of the monumental building VA-VD, previously investigated by Dario Palermo, was completed. At the
same time, the entire area of the so-called "temple B" has been cleaned up, freeing the structures from the large dry wall set up by
Pernier, in order to proceed with a new architectural drawing of the building. In both sectors, the excavation campaign has yielded
significant results, which allow to clarify many doubts thus far unresolved. Concerning the study of the finds, the first results of the
archaeometric investigations (SEM and NAA) carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
N.C.S.R. Demokritos of Athens on some ceramic samples from the necropolis have been included in the present report.
