Governance of Science. Transforming Research and Innovation into an Inclusive Responsible Process

Governance is a key issue in the field of science in society. The movement from good governance to more elaborated concepts of democratic, participative, sustainable and responsible governance, is reflected in the aims, objectives, activities and outcomes of the projects funded under the European Framework Programs FP6 and FP7. This chapter outlines key elements useful to take stock of the research activities achievements and lessons learnt.
