abstract:
The research on polyphenols is continuously increasing with the aim to isolate new compounds or blends of them to use in cancer prevention and/or treatment [1]. In the present work extracts from "Greco" grape canes, a typical cultivar of the Campania region (Italy), were prepared and tested as potential anticancer agents.
Our preliminary data show that polyphenols extracted from a cheap and underexploited agricultural residue can be considered as potential anticancer agents.
