Bellini vs. Asturias: note intorno ad un epistolario inedito

The professional and human relationship between the Italian professor Giuseppe Bellini and the Guatemalan writer Miguel Angel Asturias lasted forty years. The former Bellini's letter is dated 1954, while tha last one has been sent in 1974, some weeks before the Nobel Prize's death. While the whole Asturias' correspondence has been published in Italy in 2013, thanks to Bellini's generosity, the Italian Professor's letters are jealously preserved in Paris, still waiting to be studied to obtain a complete picture of their role in the dissemination of Spanish-American literature in Italy. The essay means to give a sample of the valuable material of the National Library of France, hoping that could be soon brought to light.
