Influence of all-reflective optical systems in the transmission of polarization-encoded qubits

We study the effect of the reflection on a mirror on a polarization state, from the point of view of polarization-encoded quantum cryptography. The behavior of plane mirrors and spherical ones, typical components of optical terminals for free-space communications, is examined both numerically and experimentally.
