Nitrated polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in ambient air of Italy. A brief overview

NPAH speciation and quantitative evaluation has been performed in several sites of Italy, both urban, suburban and rural. Both directly emitted and in-sity generated NPAH were found, with relative abundance depending on intensity of emission sources and strenght of photochemical pollution.
