Abstract:
In experiments involving vapour detection, bubblers are often used in order to feed the various
substances in the measuring chamber and it's it is of particular importance to estimate the exact
quantity of analyte that reach the sensor under test. We must in fact consider, than beyond the
phenomenon of the free evaporation, also the mechanical transport due to the gas flow that gives place
to such a kinda of aerosol. Our studies have been focused on alcohol vapours and in particular on water,
ter-butanol, n-butanol, n-propanol, decane, methanol, ethanol and hexane. We evaluated the behaviour
of a particular substance either, by varying temperature and keeping a steady gas flow rate , or keeping
the temperature at a constant value and varying the flow rate.
