Quantitative analysis by using the XPIXE-alpha spectrometer of the LNS-INFN

The XPIXE-alpha (X-ray Fluorescence and Particle Induced X-ray Emission) is a portable spectrometer, developed at the LNS-INFN laboratories, that makes use of a 244Cm radioactive source as alpha particles and X-ray emitter [1]. In this contribution we present a preliminary method to perform quantitative analysis of thick homogeneous samples.
