We would like to contribute to the discussion on the biopolitics of immigration from the standpoint of the Constitution and its normative conception, like a sort of "counter conduct" against the tendency of power to concentrate and self-legitimizing. The Constitution and its interpretation are a fundamental basis for dealing with the power dynamics that affect migration. We are therefore offering a reading of the Constitution that from the specific positioning of migrants looks at the universality of the people present on the Italian territory by providing a body of meaning to the constitutional forms of co-existence. From this standpoint the intercultural approach offers significant input for reflection that considers individuals as contextualized people that take form in social and power relations to grasp the unrepeatable cultural synthesis that each individual embodies. This approach makes it possible to try to give new significance to the whole of the constitutional text in the direction of self-fulfilment of the individuals who for any reason find themselves on the margins of co-existence.
