Differential photoionization cross section calculation of NH3 in the random phase approximation
Academic Article

abstract:
A recently proposed K-matrix technique to solve the random phase approximation equations projected on basis sets of L(2) functions has been applied to a theoretical study of the outer-shell ionization processes in NH3. Cross sections, photoelectron angular distribution parameters and branching ratios for the ionization of the valence 3a(1), 1e and inner-valence 2a(1) shells of ammonia have been calculated as a function of the photon energy in a range of more than 100 eV above threshold.
