The associated standard molar enthalpy change ?Hmo(298.15 K) = (186 ± 7) kJ · mol-1 was derived as an average of the corresponding values obtained by second- and third-law treatments of the results. The standard molar enthalpy of formation of HgSe(s), ?fHmo(298.15 K) = -55 kJ · mol-1, was also derived.
