L'Epinomide e la Stoa

The articulated and effective impact of pseudo-Platonic Epinomis on Stoic metaphysics, cosmology and theology is examined in terms of the transmission of Platonic and Academic ideas to early and late Hellenistic philosophy as well as late Antiquity. The analysis compares Epinomis' texts and Stoic texts and doctrines and is introduced by a large survey of the most significant modern reconstructions of the origins of Stoic physics.
