abstract:
Hypothesis refers to a supposition put forward in a
provisional manner and in need of further epistemic
and empirical support. Technology analysis
explains the relationships underlying the source,
evolution, and diffusion of technology for technological,
economic and social change. Technology
analysis considers technology as a complex system
that evolves with incremental and radical
innovations to satisfy needs, achieve goals,
and/or solve problems of adopters to take advantage
of important opportunities or to cope with
consequential environmental threats
