abstract:

Eight species of the African genus Microcercus Budde-Lund, 1910 (Crustacea, Oniscoidea) are described. Four of them are new: M. pseudanomalus, M. marmoratus, M. acutitelson and M. beroni. A list of the species belonging to Microcercus is given together with a map of their distributions.
