Base promoted isomerization of aziridinyl ethers: a new access to alfa- and beta-aminoacids

abstract:
Aziridinyl ethers are easily converted to either amino vinyl ethers or alkoxy allylamines by treatment with mixed metal bases (superbases). This is the first example of a base-promoted aziridine- allylic amine conversion.
