Greenfield Challenge 2021

The elected members of the Council, who are in charge of the selection process, received several applications for the Greenfield Challenge this year. After a careful examination, the winner of the 2021 Greenfield Challenge is Antonella Bodini of CNR IMATI, for both her outreach activities and her multidisciplinary work with non-statisticians. Dr Bodini encouraged young women's interest in STEM and promoted statistical culture by means of short videos on fundamental principles of statistics, directed at the general public. She also engaged in work with non-statisticians, published in multidisciplinary journals, where an effort was made to present statistical methods to non-specialists. She will give a talk at the 2021 online ENBIS meeting.
