Increasing the Bandwidth of Resonant Gravitational Antennas: The Case of Explorer

A study was performed on increasing the bandwidth of resonant gravitational antennas. The detector and its sensitivity were described and the foreseeable upgrades to even larger bandwidths were discussed. It was shown that the resonant gravitational wave detectors with an observation bandwidth of tens of hertz are a reality.
