abstract:
The research investigates the application of low-cost key enabling technologies, such as SLAM and photogrammetric survey, digital modelling, monitoring, simulation and information management to study the bioclimatic behaviour of transition spaces of historical buildings (loggias, porticoes, courtyards, etc.), to enhance the knowledge and improvement of their passive functioning and thermo-hygrometric comfort to promote climate mitigation. The proposed methodology was applied to the pilot case of Palazzo Costabili in Ferrara, hosting the National Archaeological Museum of the city.
